Blue-Ribbon Microwave Cheesecake Bars

INGREDIENTS:
1/3 C butter or margarine 1/3 C brown sugar, packed 1 C flour
1/4 C walnuts, chopped 1 (8 oz) pkg creamed cheese, softened 1/2 t vanilla
1/4 C sugar 1 egg 1 T milk
1 T lemon juice



1 Cream together butter and brown sugar in bowl until light and fluffy, using electric mixer at medium speed. Stir in flour and walnuts. Mixture will be crumbly. Remove 1 C crumb mixture and reserve for topping. Press remaining crumb mixture into bottom of 8" square baking dish. Microwave at high setting 2 minutes, rotating dish 1/4 turn after 1 minute. Beat cream cheese in bowl until smooth, using electric mixer at medium speed. Gradually add sugar, egg, milk, lemon juice, and vanilla, beating well. Spread cream cheese mixture over crust. Sprinkle with reserved 1 C crumb mixture. Microwave at high setting 6 minutes or until set, rotating dish 1/4 turn every 2 minutes. Cool in dish on heatproof surface.
