| 1 2-3 pound chicken, cut into serving pieces | 1/4 cup white vinegar | 1 cup water |
| 4 cloves garlic, crushed | salt and pepper to taste | 1 cup cooking oil |
| 1 | Simmer chicken in vinegar, water, garlic, salt and pepper until almost done. Drain off liquid. Deep fry chicken in oil until brown. Drain chicken. |
