| 2 eggs | 2 cups milk, scalded | 6 tablespoons sugar |
| 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring | 1/8 teaspoon salt | 1-1/2 cups evaporated milk, or cream |
| 1 | Beat eggs until yolks and whites are blended. Add sugar and salt. Mix well. Add milk slowly, stirring constantly. Cook over hot water until mixture coats a spoon. Remove from fire at once. Chill. Add flavoring and evaporated milk, or cream. Freeze. |
