| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 8 C popped popcorn | 3/4 C packed brown sugar | 1/3 C butter or margarine |
| 3 tbsp light corn syrup | 1/4 tsp baking soda | 1/4 tsp vanilla |
| 1 | Put popcorn into 17x12x2" pan. In 1-1/2 qt pan cornbine sugar, butter & corn syrup. Cook & stir over medium heat till butter melts and mixture comes to a boil. Cook, stirring occ, to 255 F (hard-ball stage), about 4 minutes more. Remove from heat. Add soda and vanilla. Pour over popcorn, stir to coat. Bake at 300 for 15 minutes, stir. Bake 5 minutes more. Transfer to large bowl, cool. |
