Mom's Armenian Hamburgers

INGREDIENTS:
1 lb ground beef 1/4 C finely chopped onion 2 T finely chopped green pepper
1/2 C finely chopped parsley 1/8 tsp ground allspice 1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chili powder 2 T water



1 Mix well beef, onion, green pepper, parsley, allspice, salt, chili powder and water. Moisten hands with cold water and shape mixture into 4 patties, about 1" thick. Place patties in pan or grill and broil, grill or pan-fry 4-5 minutes each side or until cooked to your liking.
