Wash mushrooms and remove stems. Arrange mushroom caps hollow side up in pie plate or shallow baking dish. In small mixing bowl, combine butter and almonds. Cook on High uncovered 3 minutes or until golden brown. Add onion, salt, lemon juice, bread crumbs, and water; mix well. Spoon mixture into mushrooms. Cook on High, covered with waxed paper, 2 minutes or until hot. Tip: to make ahead, stuff mushrooms and refrigerate. When ready to serve, cook as directed, increasing time 30 seconds when mushrooms are completely cold. |
