Mandarin Orange Cake

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups flour 2 cans of drained mandarin oranges 2 tsp soda
2 tsp vanilla 2 cups sugar 2 eggs
1 tsp salt



1 Put the ingredients into a bowl and lightly beat eggs, sugar, then add the mandarin oranges continue lightly beating then add the vanilla and all the dry ingredients. Mix the dry ingredients into the above by a large spoon till well blended. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan and bake 350 for 30-35 minutes. When done take out of oven, poke holes in the top of the cake. Topping: Into a saucepan add 1-1/2 cups brown sugar, 6 tbls butter, 6 tbls milk. Heat until sugar is melted. Pour over the cake. You can sprinkle coconut or chopped walnuts on the top if desired.
