| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 1/2 C unsalted butter | 1 C farina (cream of wheat) | 2 C sugar |
| 4 C boiling water | chopped walnuts and ground cinnamon or shredded Monterey Jack cheese | |
| 1 | Melt butter in 3 qt pan and stir in farina. Saute, stirring, about 3 minutes. Stir together sugar and boiling water until sugar is dissolved. Add sugar water to farina mixture. Cook over low heat 20-25 minutes, stirring frequently. Pour into individual dessert dishes. Garnish as desired with walnuts and cinnamon or shredded cheese. |
