| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 1 3-to-4-pound brisket | 1/2 cup ketchup | 1/2 cup brown sugar |
| 1 1.2 ounce package dry onion soup mix | 3/4 cup water | 3/4 cup kosher blackberry wine |
| 1 | Preheat oven to 325 F. |
| 2 | Place brisket in a roasting pan. |
| 3 | Combine ketchup, brown sugar, onion soup mix, water, and blackberry wine, mixing together well. Spoon over brisket in pan. |
| 4 | Cover and bake for approximately 1 hour for each pound of meat. After baking for 2 hours, remove from oven and slice the brisket. |
| 5 | Return sliced meat to oven and bake until done. |
