INGREDIENTS:
1 3-to-4-pound brisket 1/2 cup ketchup 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1.2 ounce package dry onion soup mix 3/4 cup water 3/4 cup kosher blackberry wine



1 Preheat oven to 325 F.
2 Place brisket in a roasting pan.
3 Combine ketchup, brown sugar, onion soup mix, water, and blackberry wine, mixing together well. Spoon over brisket in pan.
4 Cover and bake for approximately 1 hour for each pound of meat. After baking for 2 hours, remove from oven and slice the brisket.
5 Return sliced meat to oven and bake until done.
