| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 3/4 C turkey or chicken, cubed | 1 C raw long grain rice | 1 t salt |
| 1/2 C milk | 1/4 C slivered almonds | 1 can French cut green beans, broccoli or asparagus |
| 2 C water | 2 cans cream of mushroom soup | 1 T parsley flakes |
| 1 | Add water and salt to rice in 2 qt covered dish. Microwave on High for 6-7 minutes. Let stand, covered, 10 minutes. Return to micro and bake for 5-6 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes then fluff up with fork. Spread rice on bottom of 11-3/4"x7-1/2" or 8"x12" glass dish. Next layer turkey cubes and green beans. Mix soup with milk and pour on top of casserole. Sprinkle with almonds. Cover with plastic wrap, making several slits in top. Microwave on high 12-15 minutes or until heated through well. |
