Luau Ribs

INGREDIENTS:
4 pounds spareribs 1 1-pound can sliced peaches, drained 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/3 cup catsup 1/3 cup vinegar 2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 cloves garlic 2 teaspoons ginger 1 teaspoon salt
dash pepper



1 Preheat oven to 450 F. Place spareribs, meat side up, in a shallow baking pan. Bake for 45 minutes; pour off fat. Put remaining ingredients in blender container; cover and run on speed 5 (or high) until smooth. Spoon sauce over ribs. Lower oven temperature to 350 F and bake 1-1/2 hours or until done, basting ribs with sauce every 15 minutes. Cut into serving-size pieces.
