| 4 pounds spareribs | 1 1-pound can sliced peaches, drained | 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar |
| 1/3 cup catsup | 1/3 cup vinegar | 2 tablespoons soy sauce |
| 2 cloves garlic | 2 teaspoons ginger | 1 teaspoon salt |

| 1 | Preheat oven to 450 F. Place spareribs, meat side up, in a shallow baking pan. Bake for 45 minutes; pour off fat. Put remaining ingredients in blender container; cover and run on speed 5 (or high) until smooth. Spoon sauce over ribs. Lower oven temperature to 350 F and bake 1-1/2 hours or until done, basting ribs with sauce every 15 minutes. Cut into serving-size pieces. |
