| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 3 Vidalia or sweet onions, thinly sliced | 2 tablespoons sweet margarine | 2 eggs |
| 1/2 cup nonfat milk | 2 tablespoons flour | 1/4 teaspoon salt |
| 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar or Jarlsberg cheese | ||
| 1 | Preheat oven to 375 F. Grease an 8 or 9-inch pie plate. |
| 2 | In a heavy pan, saute onions in margarine for about 10 minutes, until soft. Remove from heat and set aside. |
| 3 | Mix together eggs, milk, flour, and salt. Add sauteed onions. |
| 4 | Pour onion mixture into pie plate. Sprinkle cheese over top. |
| 5 | Bake for about 20 minutes, until cheese is browned. |
