| 1 pound calf's or beef liver, finely chopped | 3 to 4 hard-boiled eggs, finely chopped | 1 sweet onion, diced |
| 1 celery stalk, diced | 1 soft-boiled egg yolk | iceberg lettuce leaves |

| 1 | Combine liver, hard-boiled eggs, onion, celery, and egg yolk, mixing together well. Use less or more than a whole egg yolk depending on the consistency of the chopped liver that is desired. |
