| 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour | 2/3 cup packed brown sugar | 1/2 cup uncooked rolled oats |
| 1 tablespoon baking powder | 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon | 1/2 teaspoon salt |
| 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg | 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger | dash ground cloves |
| 1 cup coarsely chopped pared apples | 1/2 cup chopped walnuts | 1/2 cup chopped pitted dates |
| 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted | 1/4 cup milk | 2 eggs |
| 1 | Preheat oven to 400 F. Grease well or paper-line 12 (2-1/2-inch) muffin cups. In large bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, oats, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, finger and cloves. Mix in apples, nuts and dates. In small bowl, combine butter, milk and eggs until blended. Pour into flour mixture, stirring just until moistened. Spoon into muffin cups. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from pan. |
