Fast Fudge Cake

INGREDIENTS:
3 C flour, sifted 2 C sugar 2/3 C cocoa
1 t salt 2/3 C oil (no substitute) 1 t soda
2 t vanilla 2 t vinegar 2 C water
FAST FUDGE FROSTING: 1 C sugar 1/3 C milk 1 C (6 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
5 T margarine 1 t vanilla



1 Mix all dry ingredients. Add liquid ingredients at one time. Mix well with mixer. Batter will be heavy. Bake in greased and floured cake pans, bundt pan or 9x13" pan or 3 dozen cupcakes. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
2 FAST FUDGE FROSTING: In a small saucepan, mix sugar, margarine, and milk. Boil, stirring constantly, for one minute. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and chocolate chips; beat until smooth with electric mixer. This can be spread on a hot cake, if desired.
