Pineapple with Rum

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups pineapple, cubed 2 cups sugar 1 cup water
3 oz rum 2 T lemon or lime juice 1 t amaretto



1 In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Stir over low heat until sugar dissolves. Cool. Add rum, lemon or lime juice, and amaretto. Stir well. Dip pineapple in syrup.
2 For the aloha touch, serve syrup in partially scooped out pineapple shell.
