| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| Kasseri cheese, 1/3 inch thick (1/3 pound) | egg | 1 tablespoon milk |
| flour | olive oil for pan frying | brandy |
| lemon juice | ||
| 1 | Cut a slice of kasseri cheese about 1/3 inch thick. Mix the egg with the milk. Dip the cheese into the egg mixture. Then dip it into flour. Fry in a bit of oil in a heavy frying pan on medium heat until golden brown. Then turn. Flame with brandy if you wish, but be careful. Add a squirt of lemon juice when the flame dies down. |
