| 12 medium yellow onions | 6 tablespoons olive oil | 2 tablespoons wine vinegar |
| 3 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed | chopped parsley | salt and fresh-ground black pepper to taste |
| 1 | Wrap the unpeeled onions individually in aluminum foil. Push into the coals of the fire or barbecue, and leave for 30 to 40 minutes. Or place in a 375 oven for 1 hour. |
