| 6 cups chicken or beef stock | 1 T soy sauce | 1 piece ginger root |
| 1 lb fresh egg noodles, parboiled | 1/2 t sesame oil | salt and pepper to taste |
| 3 T green onions, chopped | 1/2 lb red pork or Chinese barbecued pork | |
| 1 | Heat stock, ginger root, and soy sauce to boiling. Add noodles. Bring to almost boiling. Remove from heat. Mix in oil, salt and pepper. When ready to serve add onions and pork. |
