Helen's Blueberry Pie

INGREDIENTS:
3/4 C sugar 2-1/2 Tbsp cornstarch 1/4 tsp salt
2/3 C water 3 C berries 1-1/2 Tbsp lemon juice (optional)
2 Tbsp butter 1 pie shell



1 Combine in saucepan sugar, cornstarch, salt, water and 1 cup berries. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until very thick.
2 Remove from fire and stir in 2 cups berries and lemon juice and butter. Pour into baked pie shell. Chill 1 hour.
3 Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
