| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 3/4 C sugar | 2-1/2 Tbsp cornstarch | 1/4 tsp salt |
| 2/3 C water | 3 C berries | 1-1/2 Tbsp lemon juice (optional) |
| 2 Tbsp butter | 1 pie shell | |
| 1 | Combine in saucepan sugar, cornstarch, salt, water and 1 cup berries. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until very thick. |
| 2 | Remove from fire and stir in 2 cups berries and lemon juice and butter. Pour into baked pie shell. Chill 1 hour. |
| 3 | Serve with whipped cream or ice cream. |
