| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 3 cups cored, peeled, sliced cooking apples | 2 cups fresh cranberries | 1/2 cup granulated sugar |
| 1 stick butter (4 ounces), cut into small pieces | 1-1/2 cups raw oatmeal | 3/4 cup brown sugar |
| 1 | Heat oven to 350 degrees. Butter an 8-inch-square baking dish and set aside. |
| 2 | In a mixing bowl, combine apples, cranberries and white sugar. Turn fruit into prepared baking dish. |
| 3 | In bowl of electric mixer, quickly blend butter, oatmeal and brown sugar until if forms lumpy crumbs. (Do not blend it so long it creams the butter.) Top the fruit with bits of dough/crumbs. Bake for 50-60 minutes. |
