| 8 slices white bread | 8 eggs | 4 cups milk |
| 2 teaspoons salt | 2 teaspoons dry mustard | 2 cups baked ham, cubed |
| 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese | ||
| 1 | Butter generously a 9x13-inch baking dish. Remove crusts from bread slices and cut bread into 1-inch cubes. Arrange on bottom of prepared pan. In a large bowl, combine eggs, mild, salt and mustard. Beat with a rotary beater until foamy and light. Fold in ham. Pour over bread. Reserve cheese. Cover baking dish with foil; seal well around edges of the dish. Refrigerate overnight. At baking time, preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Remove foil. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 30 minutes. |
