Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease 9x12x2-inch baking pan. |

Cook noodles according to package directions. Rinse under cold water and drain. Set aside. |

On a cutting board, group cheese slices into two stacks of five pieces. With a very sharp knife, cut the cheese first crosswise and then lengthwise into very small pieces. Set aside. |

In a medium bowl, beat eggs with electric beaters for 2 minutes on high until eggs are frothy. Add milk and stir. Set aside. |

Combine noodles, cottage cheese, and American cheese pieces. Add to egg and milk mixture, stirring well. |

Pour into baking pan. |

Bake uncovered for approximately 1-1/2 hours, until top is medium brown. |

Remove from oven and let cool for 5 to 10 minutes. |
