| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 2 cups sugar | 1 cup shortening | 6 bananas, mashed |
| 4 eggs well-beaten | 2-1/2 cups cake flour | 2 t baking soda |
| 1 | Combine sugar, shortening, bananas, and eggs. Mix well. Sift together flour, salt, and baking soda. Blend with banana mixture. Do not overmix. Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 45 to 50 minutes. Remove from oven. Leave in pan for 5 minutes. Remove. Cool on rack. |
