Milky Cold Sauce (Kishk)

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup flour 2 cups chicken broth 1 cup milk
1 onion, sliced thinly 1 tablespoon butter salt and pepper



1 Mix flour and seasoning. Add chicken broth to milk and pour over flour, stirring to blend. Place over low flame and cook, stirring constantly, to reach the thickness of thin custard pudding. Place in shallow serving dish to cool.
2 Fry onion in butter until nicely brown. Drain on absorbent paper and cool. Sprinkle decoratively over kishk. Serve cold.
