INGREDIENTS:
6-8 artichokes 1/2 pound shelled peas 12-15 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon butter salt



1 Prepare artichoke hearts for stewing and cut into 4-6 parts. Parboil peas, then add artichokes and boil together until tender. Drain.
2 Crush garlic with salt and mix with butter until smooth. Place the garlic over a very low flame until it turns yellow, add the vegetables, and simmer-tossing frequently-about 10 minutes.
