| 6-8 artichokes | 1/2 pound shelled peas | 12-15 garlic cloves |
| 1 tablespoon butter | salt | |
| 1 | Prepare artichoke hearts for stewing and cut into 4-6 parts. Parboil peas, then add artichokes and boil together until tender. Drain. |
