Preheat oven to 425 F. Blend flour, baking powder, sugar and 1 teaspoon salt in processor. Add butter and cut in, using on/off turns, until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add 1-1/2 cups cream. Blend until dough comes together in moist clumps, adding more cream by tablespoonfuls if dough is dry. Transfer to large bowl; gently mix in cheese. |

Turn dough out onto lightly floured surface. Knead dough 30 seconds to bring together. Pat out to 1-inch thickness. Using 2-inch round cookie cutter, cut out biscuits. Gather scraps, pat dough out and cut out more biscuits until all of dough is used. |

Transfer biscuits to 2 larrge ungreased baking sheets, spacing apart. Bake until puffed and golden, about 15 minutes. |
