| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 3 cups flour | 1 T baking powder | 1 t salt |
| 1 cup butter | 2/3 cup sugar | 2/3 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed |
| 1 t vanilla | 1 egg | 3/4 cup macadamia nuts, finely chopped |
| 1 | Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Blend in vanilla and egg. Gradually blend in flour mixture. Stir in nuts. Divide dough in half. Shape each half into a 1-1/2" roll. Wrap in plastic or wax paper. Chill 4 hours, or until firm. Preheat oven to 350. Slice rolls into 1/4" slices. Place slices on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10 or 12 minutes. Cool on wire rack. |
