Meat and Rice Stuffing (Hashwet Lahmeh wa Rezz)

INGREDIENTS:
about 3/4 cup white short grain rice about 1/2 lb minced (ground) fatty lamb 2 tablespoons water (or meat stock)
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice 1/4 teaspoon finely ground black pepper
salt to taste



1 Wash the rice in two or three changes of cold water, drain and put in a mixing bowl. Add the minced meat, water (or stock) and season with cinnamon, allspice, pepper and salt to taste. Mix with your hands to blend well. Taste, adjust seasoning if necessary, and use to stuff the vegetable of your choice.
