| 4 pounds of pork spareribs or country-style ribs | 2 large onions, peeled and sliced into rings | 1 cup catsup |
| 1 cup water | 1 teaspoon celery seed | 1 tablespoon salt |
| 1 teaspoon pepper | 1/4 teaspoon prepared mustard | 1/4 teaspoon chili powder |
| 1 | Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Whip ribs with a damp paper towel. In a large roaster or a covered baking dish, layer ribs and onion rings. In a small bowl, combine catsup, water, celery seed, salt, pepper, mustard and chili powder. Blend thoroughly and pour over ribs and onions. Bake 3 to 4 hours. |
