INGREDIENTS:
3 cups tomato juice 1 cup orange juice 1/2 cup lime juice
1/2 small white onion, chopped 1 teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
2 teaspoons seeded and chopped fresh hot green or red pepper, or 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper white tequila halved limes
salt



1 Combine the tomato juice, orange juice, lime juice, onion, sugar, salt, and hot pepper or cayenne in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Strain into a jug and chill thoroughly. Serve in small, straight-sided 1-1/2 to 2-ounce tequila glasses with another glass of tequila served separately. Squeeze a little lime juice into either the Sangrita or the tequila and drink sip by sip, or put a little salt on the lime and take a little suck of it as liked.
