Almond Baba (Babka Migdalowa)

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup sugar 10 eggs, separated 1-1/2 cups ground almonds
juice of 1 lemon 2 cups flour (potato flour is best)



1 Cream the sugar with the egg yolks until frothy and lemon colored. Add the ground almonds and juice and mix well. Beat the egg whites until stiff, then fold into the almond mixture alternately with sifted flour. Pour into a greased mold and bake at 450 F for 30 minutes.
