| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 12 to 16 pound turkey, thawed if frozen | 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper | 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin |
| 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice | 1/4 teaspoon salt | 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
| 2 teaspoons chili powder | 1 teaspoon water | 2 tablespoons honey |
| 1 | Prepare turkey according to package directions and roast in shallow roasting pan in 325 F oven or cook on outdoor grill using indirect heat method according to owners guide for grill. Combine all remaining ingredients to make glaze. When turkey has about 45 to 60 minutes left to cook, brush glaze over skin. For oven prepared turkey, loosely cover breast and top of drumsticks with lightweight foil to prevent overcooking. Cook turkey until temperature reaches 180 F in the thighs. Let stand 15 to 20 minutes before carving. |
