| 4 egg yolks | 2 cups sugar | 2 cups freshly grated coconut |
| 1 egg white | 24 almonds | |
| 1 | Mix egg yolks, sugar, coconut, and egg white, and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture pulls away from the sides of the pan. Let the mixture stand for 1 day. Moisten your hands in egg white and make small pear-shaped candies, put them on a greased cooky sheet, and bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 300 degrees. Stick an almond on top of each for "stem." |
