Warm Pear Crisp

INGREDIENTS:
FILLING: 4 medium (4 cups) pears, peeled, sliced 1/2-inch 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg TOPPING: 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1/3 cup butter, softened



1 Heat oven to 375 F. Place pears in 9-inch square baking pan. Sprinkle with lemon juice, cinnamon and nutmeg.
2 In small mixer bowl combine flour, oats, brown sugar and butter. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until crumbly (1 to 2 minutes). Sprinkle evenly over pears.
3 Bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until pears are fork tender and top is golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream or sweetened whipped cream, if desired.
