| 1 cup butter, softened | 1 (0.7 ounce) package (2 tablespoons) garlic salad dressing mix | 1 teaspoon salt |
| 8 ears fresh corn, husked | ||
| 1 | Prepare grill; heat until coals are ash white. |
| 2 | In small bowl combine butter, dressing mix and salt; mix well. Spread 2 tablespoons butter mixture evenly over each ear. Wrap each ear in a square of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Bring edges of foil up to center; tightly seal top and sides of each packet. |
| 3 | Place foil packets on grill. Cover; grill, turning once, until tender (15 to 20 minutes). Serve hot with additional butter. |
