| RELISH: 1/2 cup chopped apple | 1/2 cup chopped red pepper | 2 tablespoons sliced green onion |
| 1-1/2 teaspoon red wine vinegar | 1-1/2 teaspoons olive or vegetable oil | 2 to 3 dashes hot pepper sauce |
| SANDWHICH: 4 slices Vienna bread | 4 teaspoons mayonnaise | 8 ounces thinly sliced deli smoked turkey breast |
| 4 (3/4 ounce each) slices Swiss cheese | ||
| 1 | Prepare grill; heat until coals are ash white. In small bowl stir together all relish ingredients; set aside. |
| 2 | Lightly toast 1 side of bread on grill. To assemble each sandwich, layer toasted side of bread with 1 teaspoon mayonnaise, 1/4 turkey, 2 tablespoons relish and 1 slice cheese. |
| 3 | Place sandwiches on grill. Grill, turning once, until sandwiches are heated through and cheese is melted (4 to 6 minutes). Serve with remaining relish. |
| 4 | OVEN DIRECTIONS: Heat oven to 350 F. In small bowl stir together all relish ingredients; set aside. Place toasted bread slices on cookie sheet; spread with mayonnaise. Assemble sandwiches as directed above. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted. Serve with remaining relish. |
