Cheese Baked Ziti

INGREDIENTS:
1 pound ziti (or any large cut macaroni) 1 cup Ricotta 2 8-ounce cans tomato sauce
salt and pepper to taste 6 ounces Mozzarella, diced 4 ounces Mozzarella, sliced
1/4 cup grated Parmesan or Romano cheese



1 Preheat oven to 350 F. Cook macaroni as directed on package. Drain. Combine ricotta and tomato sauce. Pour over macaroni and blend. Add diced mozzarella, salt and pepper; toss to mix. Place in 2-quart casserole, cover with thin slices of mozzarella and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake 15 minutes, uncovered, until lightly browned.
