| 1 pound ziti (or any large cut macaroni) | 1 cup Ricotta | 2 8-ounce cans tomato sauce |
| salt and pepper to taste | 6 ounces Mozzarella, diced | 4 ounces Mozzarella, sliced |
| 1/4 cup grated Parmesan or Romano cheese | ||
| 1 | Preheat oven to 350 F. Cook macaroni as directed on package. Drain. Combine ricotta and tomato sauce. Pour over macaroni and blend. Add diced mozzarella, salt and pepper; toss to mix. Place in 2-quart casserole, cover with thin slices of mozzarella and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake 15 minutes, uncovered, until lightly browned. |
