Anchovy Sauce

INGREDIENTS:
2 tablespoons butter 3 tablespoons olive oil 1 clove garlic, minced
1 can (2 ounces) Anchovy fillets 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley 1 teaspoon chopped sweet basil
ground pepper



1 In a small saucepan heat butter and oil. Add garlic and simmer 5 minutes. Drain oil from anchovies into saucepan, chop anchovies and add to saucepan with parsley and basil. Simmer 5 minutes, season with pepper and serve hot with pasta.
2 NOTE: Do not add salt to this recipe. It has a strong, salty flavor and should be used in small quantities.
