| 1/2 pound ground beef | 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder | 1 package au gratin potatoes |
| 2 cups hot water | 2/3 cup milk | 1 can (4 ounces) mushrooms stems and pieces, drained |
| 1/3 cup sour cream | ||
| 1 | Cook beef and garlic powder in 10-inch skillet over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. |
| 2 | Add potatoes; sprinkle with sauce mix. Stir in water and milk. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender. |
