| 1-1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper | 3 pounds ground beef (20% fat) | 8 sesame or onion hamburger buns or kaiser rolls, halved horizontally |

| 1 | Combine first 4 ingredients in large bowl; whisk to blend. Add beef and mix gently to blend. Shape beef mixture into 8 patties, each about 4-1/2 inches in diameter. |
| 2 | Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat). Place hamburger buns, cut side down, on rack and grill until toasted, about 2 minutes. Transfer to basket, pairing tops with bottoms.
