INGREDIENTS:
3 tablespoons olive oil 3 large onions, peeled, thickly sliced



1 Heat oil in heavy large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and saute until tender and pale golden, about 35 minutes. Season onions to taste with salt and pepper.
