Apple Crisp

INGREDIENTS:
place 5 or 6 sliced apples in a greased 9x9-inch baking dish. Mix together with fork until crumbly: 1 C flour 1/2 to 1 C sugar
1 t baking powder 1 egg, unbeaten 3/4 t salt



1 Sprinkle over apples. Pour over mixture 1/3 C melted shortening and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake 30 to 40 minutes in 350 oven. Serve with cream.
