INGREDIENTS:
2 envelopes dessert topping 1 can cherry pie filling 2 C crushed soda crackers
2 C sugar 6 egg whites 1 C chopped nuts



1 Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar. Add crushed crackers and nuts. Put into 9x9x2-inch buttered pan and bake at 300 F. for 1/2 hour. Beat topping and spread over cracker and nut mixture when cool. Allow to set for 10 minutes. Cover top with cherry pie filling. Chill.
