| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 2 envelopes dessert topping | 1 can cherry pie filling | 2 C crushed soda crackers |
| 2 C sugar | 6 egg whites | 1 C chopped nuts |
| 1 | Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar. Add crushed crackers and nuts. Put into 9x9x2-inch buttered pan and bake at 300 F. for 1/2 hour. Beat topping and spread over cracker and nut mixture when cool. Allow to set for 10 minutes. Cover top with cherry pie filling. Chill. |
