| 1 angel food cake, split | 1 pt whipping cream | 4 egg yolks |
| 1 t vanilla | 1 oz gelatin | 1 C sonfectioners' sugar |
| pecans | Maraschino cherries | |
| 1 | Dissolve gelatin in enough lukewarm water to cover. Let soak 15 minutes. Set over hot steam until melted. Add sugar, stir into hot gelatin. Add egg yolks to whipped cream and vanilla; then add to gelatin and sugar mixture. |
| 2 | Put between and on top of angel food cake. Cover with pecans and maraschino cherries. |
