Buterscotch Banana Bread

INGREDIENTS:
3-1/2 C unsifted flour 4 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon 1 tsp ground nutmeg 1 tsp salt
2 C very ripe mashed bananas 1-1/2 C sugar 2 C butter, melted
1/2 C milk 2-2/3 C chopped pecans 1 (12oz) pkg butterscotch bits



1 Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Combine bananas, sugar, eggs and butter in large bowl and beat until creamy. Gradually add flour mixture alternately with milk. Mix until well blended. Stir in 2 C chopped pecans and butterscotch bits. Pour batter equally into 2 well-greased and floured 9x5x3" loaf pans. Sprinkle 1/3 C pecans over each loaf. Bake at 350 F 60-70 minutes. Cool 15 minutes. Remove loaves from pans. Place on wire racks to cool completely.
