| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 3 tablespoons finely minced garlic | 1/4 cup chopped onion | 3 tablespoons cooking oil |
| 3 tablespoons patis or 1 teaspoon salt | 3 cups chicken broth | 1/2 cup chopped mushrooms |
| 1/2 pound pork loin, cooked and cut into serving pieces | one 2-pound boned chicken breast, boiled and diced | 1/2 cup celery cut into fine strips |
| 1/2 cup sweet peas | 1 pound sotanghon or bean thread noodles | 1/2 teaspoon pepper |
| 1/4 cup scallions | salt and pepper to taste | |
| 1 | Saute garlic and onion in boil. Add patis or salt, broth, mushrooms, pork, chicken, celery and peas and bring to a boil. Add sotanghon noodles and continue boiling until noodles are transparent. Season with salt and pepper to taste and add scallions just before serving. |
