| INGREDIENTS: | ||
| 3/4 cup chopped unsalted cashew nuts | 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour | 1/2 cup sugar |
| 2 egg yolks, slightly beaten | 2 tablespoons heavy cream | 1/3 cup butter, melted |
| 1 egg white, stiffly beaten | powdered sugar and glace cherries for decoration | |
| 1 | Preheat oven to 350 F. Mix the dry ingredients thoroughly in a bowl. Make a well in the center and add egg yolks, cream and melted butter. Mix until well blended, then add egg white. Pour into 1-1/4 inch-diameter fluted paper cups and bake for 12 to 15 minutes. Sprinkle a small amont of powdered sugar on each petit four and decorate each with a cherry to serve. |
