| 1/4 cup black beans | 1/4 cup green beans | 1/4 cup red beans |

| 1 | Place the black, green and red beans in separate pots filled with water. Bring the water to a boil. Boil for 1 minute, then drain. |
| 2 | Combine the black, green and red beans in a large saucepan. Cover the beans with 3-1/2 cups cold water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. |
| 3 | Add the rice cake and millet. Boil a second time, reduce the heat and let simmer for another 10 minutes or until all the water has been absorbed. |
