| 1-1/2 lbs shelled green peas | 2 teaspoons chopped parsley | 3 ozs butter (6 tablespoons) |
| 5 ozs cooked ham | 2 ozs flour (1/2 cup) | |
| 1 | Cook the peas in a little boiling salted water. Strain, keeping the liquid. Melt the butter, add the flour and the water in which you have cooked the peas, add a pinch of sugar, the parsley, the green peas and lastly the ham, which should be cut into small strips. |
