Green Peas and Ham (Erbsen mit Schinken)

INGREDIENTS:
1-1/2 lbs shelled green peas 2 teaspoons chopped parsley 3 ozs butter (6 tablespoons)
5 ozs cooked ham 2 ozs flour (1/2 cup)



1 Cook the peas in a little boiling salted water. Strain, keeping the liquid. Melt the butter, add the flour and the water in which you have cooked the peas, add a pinch of sugar, the parsley, the green peas and lastly the ham, which should be cut into small strips.
